 Would you love to visit Distant Hill Gardens but haven’t been able to come on one of our public open days?

Good news—you can still visit, and you have two great options...

We are happy to accommodate your group OF ANY SIZE

for an approximately two hour guided tour of Distant Hill

Whether it's your family or friends visiting from out of town, your garden club, or your school group, there is something at Distant Hill Gardens and Nature Trail worth exploring. With a private tour you'll get to learn about Distant Hill directly from its designer and builder, Michael Nerrie. He will tailor your tour so you can learn more about what interests you at Distant Hill, be it:

• Ornamental gardening
• Vegetable gardening
• Native plants 
• Wetlands  
• Our Accessible Nature Trail 
• Our Geology Trail
  
• ... and more! 

 There is a $150 charge for a two hour Private Guided Tour

We understand that many of you would love to visit the Gardens but aren’t able to come during our limited “Open Garden” weekend hours. If you would like to visit Distant Hill Gardens on a day we are not open to the public, please email us with your preferred date and time.

Visits can be scheduled on any day of the week from the third weekend in May through the third weekend in October. If Michael is available, he will confirm your reservation, and you are welcome to tour the Gardens at your own pace for up to two hours.

Charge for a Self-guided Tour of the Gardens: $10 per adult

 Please Note: All proceeds from 'Private Guided Tours'

and 'Self-guided Tours' go toward our

'Accessible Trail Fund'

to help make the property more accessible to everyone.
